PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial force member by using a piece of wood as an anti-buckling stiffener for a metallic member, and combining the members together in an unbonded condition. SOLUTION: The piece of wood is combined in an unbonded manner into an arrangement that prevents buckling of the metallic member, and each end of the metallic member projecting from an end of the piece of wood is used as an axial force input part.
