PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a spindle driving a grinding wheel, in grinding using the grinding wheel composed of grinding stone pieces fixed on an end face of a wheel base. SOLUTION: This grinding wheel is provided: with the wheel base 11; the grinding stone pieces 13 fixed on the end face of the wheel base 11; and a flexible member 12 fixed on a position adjacent to the grinding stone pieces 13 on the end face of the wheel base 11.
