<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To align the center of a printing means and the center of a platen roller at all the time in a card processing apparatus with a printing function. <P>SOLUTION: A chassis body of a card processing apparatus 1 with the printing function for a magnetic card or an IC card is composed of an upper chassis 2 and a lower chassis 3 which are freely opened/closed, a bearing of a platen roller 45 is supported to be idly movable in a hole on a left side plate of the upper chassis 2, the left side plate of the lower chassis 3 is equipped with a U-shaped groove 11a (12a) with a guide groove for guiding the platen roller 45 to a prescribed position and positioning it when the upper and lower chassis 2 and 3 are closed, and the platen roller 45 is forcibly positioned so that its center is matched with the center of a thermal head 14 when the upper chassis 2 is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
