PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control local pair volumes in a storage system at a copying destination from a copying source, and to integrate connection environment of the copying source and the copying destination together. SOLUTION: In changing a logic volume of the storage system at the copying destination from a copying source high-order device, a command from the copying source high-order device is converted into an interface protocol for transmitting remote copy data by a copying source storage controller and transmitted to a storage controller at the copying destination.
