PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device having superior usability and to provide an electronic device allowed to prevent an operator from unintentionally operating the electronic device when the operator's hand errorneously touches a key of the electronic device. SOLUTION: The electronic device comprises: keys operated by the operator; a key depressing determination means determining that the key is depressed; a key depressing time measurement means measuring key depressing time during which the key is depressed; a key effectiveness determination means determining the effectiveness of operation by depressing the key when the key depressing time elapses specified time; and a specified time determination means determining the specified time in accordance with the the state of the electronic device.
