PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pelletizing method with which pseudo-particle having a first coated layer and a second coated layer can be obtained when sintering material is pelletized as a pre-treatment, in order to stably produce sintered ore having excellent property so as to be easily reduced and excellent cold strength. SOLUTION: In the method for pelletizing the sintering material which pelletizes by charging auxiliary material powder containing powdery ore and SiO<SB>2</SB>into a drum-mixer and further, pelletizes by adding auxiliary material powder containing CaO and powdery solid fuel into the obtained pseudo-particle, the mixing amount of powdery coke mixed into the auxiliary material powder containing the powdery ore and SiO<SB>2</SB>, is made to be≤1.5 mass% to the total mass of the auxiliary material powder containing the powdery ore and SiO<SB>2</SB>.
