PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal capable of embodying a stereo MIDI(Musical Instrument Digital Interface) sound and a control method therefor are provided to embody a stereo sound by installing a MIDI speaker in a portable electronic device such as a mobile communication terminal or a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant). CONSTITUTION: If a user talks with an object through a bidirectional speaker or uses a bell sound or multimedia function by a termination signal, the first speaker outputs a sound. When the bell sound or multimedia function is performed with the first speaker, the second speaker outputs a sound signal with the first frequency. If the bell or multimedia function is performed with the first speaker, the third speaker outputs a sound signal with the second frequency.
