FIELD: electrical communications and computer engineering; cryptographic data protection methods and devices. SUBSTANCE: proposed method designed for cryptographic protection of data transmitted over telecommunication lines boils down to generation of private key in the form of set of subkeys , division of data block into two n-bit subblocks, where n>=16, and execution of R>=2 data rounds each including generation of binary vector for first subblock, generation of two control codes, conversion of binary vector executed concurrently with conversion of second subblock with aid of first controllable pi1 conversion operation executed depending on first control code value, superposition of converted binary vector on second converted subblock by means of addition operation followed by conversion of second subblock by executing second control operation of pi2 conversion depending on value of second control code, controllable exchange operations being used as controllable pi1, pi2 conversion operations.
