FIELD: medicine, traumatology, namely orthopedic apparatuses. SUBSTANCE: crutch includes two lateral struts having in upper portion five through openings and in lower portion two opening, in mean portion smooth transition, in lower portion at spacing 130,430 mm - outer and inner radiuses 200 mm and in upper portion (on its end) - rounded tenon supporting axilla-rest. Said struts are mutually joined by handle in mean portion and they are joined by means of central strut in lower portion. Apparatus for making crutch includes monolithic upper punch, lower die with two weight screws at each side secured respectively to stationary upper and lower plates by means of bolts and having four dead parallelepiped grooves along diagonal. Said dead grooves are rounded in their ends, they are matched with milled along diagonal T- shaped grooves respectively on upper and lower plates of hydraulic press and fastened by means of four bolts between which set of punch and die is arranged. Method comprises steps of feeding birch logs for shelling veneer which is cut out by sheets with size corresponding to veneer block with allowances for next technological operations; drying blanks in drying chambers; assembling veneer sheets to bundles with height no more than 90 mm; slightly cutting at first along fibers by width 500 +-5mm according to marking out on table; then across fibers by length 1100+-5mm in machine tools; assembling veneer sheet blocks; making in press- mold bent-cemented blocks (blank of lateral strut of crutch); cutting along width by 29 +-1 mm in circular saw; crosscutting received blank at one end for providing size 130 +-1 mm until first bending and at second end for providing size 1000+-2mm in circular saw; in horizontal drilling machine drilling simultaneously seven through openings with diameter 6.5 +- 0.4 mm; in horizontal milling machine from upwards milling cylindrical tenon with diameter 14+-0.3 mm and with height 30 +-1mm. Central strut is made of birch log sawn in saw frame. Then in circular saw making parallelepiped blanks with square cross section; sawing them along length by desired blanks - beams with length 540 +-1mm; feeding to drying chamber; crosscutting at both ends until size 500+-2mm; in special milling machine tool at spacing 155 mm from downwards making cylindrical contour with diameter 30+-0.5mm; milling remaining part for making parallelepiped with rectangular cross section; drilling eight openings in specialized machine tool; milling dead slot in cylindrical portion; drilling double-step round opening and simultaneously making in end of central strut round tenon for metallic cap. EFFECT: enlarged assortment of medical crutches with universal functional properties, increased useful time period, comfortable use, lowered mass, improved safety. 5 cl, 8 dwg |
