PURPOSE: A raman laser resonator is provided to prevent the reduction of wavelength conversion efficiency without requiring an accurate optical alignment as well as to without alignment accuracy reduction as time passes. CONSTITUTION: A raman laser resonator includes a pump resonator(10) provided with a rear mirror(1) and a laser rod(3) and Raman conversion unit(20) provided with a condense lens(6), Raman medium(7) and a collimating lens(8). The pump resonator(10) generates a pump laser light. The Ranman conversion unit(20) converts the wavelength of the pump laser light by the induced Raman scattering effect. A partial reflection coating is formed on the surface(14A) facing to the pump resonator(10) and a dichroic reflection coating is formed on the surface(14B) facing to the Ranman conversion unit(20). And, an optical transparent plate(14) is installed perpendicular to the optical axis between the pump resonator(10) and the Ranman conversion unit(20).
