PURPOSE: Provided is a cosmetic product which contains rambling powder(xiao-yao-san) extracts to exert inhibiting effects on tyrosinase activation and melanin generation, and absorbs UV A and B to exert excellent whitening effect. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic product is made by preparing rambling powder(xiao-yao-san) from Atractylodes macrocephala, Paeonia japonica var. pilosa., Poria cocos, Bupleurum falcatum, Angelica sinensis and Liriope platyphylla, applying water or an organic solvent thereto to make extracts thereof, and adding the extracts to a target cosmetics. The organic solvent is acetone, ethyl acetate, diethylether, benzene, chloroform, hexane and short chain alcohol with 1-4 carbons. The amount of the rambling powder extracts is 0.001-50wt.% of the cosmetic product.
