PURPOSE: A shift control mechanism of a manual transmission is provided to improve shift quality by mounting a guide for guiding movements of a control finger and to prevent the generation of jump-out phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: A shift control mechanism of a manual transmission is composed of a control shaft(52) for receiving operating force of a shift lever and performing rectilinear and rotary motions; a control finger(54) of which an end is integrally combined to the control shaft to move and other end is selectively connected to one of a plurality of shift rails; a guide projection(56) protruded at the side of the control finger; and a guide panel(58) having a guide groove inserted with the guide projection and formed to correspond to a shift pattern, and guiding movements of the control finger. |
