PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for thermally analyzing a rotating machine under rotation by using a mesh representing the shapes of a stator and a rotator, thermal analysis device for the rotating machine, a computer program, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: In nodes contained in a space section G between the stator S and the rotator R constituting the rotating machine and located on a circle with a rotation axis A as a center, a temperature constraint condition for uniformly constraining temperatures T at nodes a0, a1, a2, a3... located on the same circle to T(a0)=T(a1)=T(a2)=T(a3)... is laid down. Uniformly constraining the temperatures at the nodes on the circle for a plurality of respective circles represents a state in which the temperature of the space section G is approximately uniform in the peripheral direction by agitating air in the space section G in the rotating machine under rotation. Applying thermal analysis based on the constraint condition executes the thermal analysis of the rotating machine under rotation by using the mesh retaining the shapes of the stator S and the rotator R.
