PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method which gives a polyvinyl chloride resin for paste processing hardly generating scales and excellent in processing characteristics, particularly low initial discoloration, thixotropic properties and foaming characteristics. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the polyvinyl chloride resin for paste processing comprises polymerizing a vinyl chloride monomer by a microsuspension polymerization method, where a specific organic peroxide as an oil-soluble polymerization initiator is added to a polymerization system and subsequently a homogenization treatment is carried out.
