PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress core having a good cushioning property. SOLUTION: An improvement in cushioning property and restraint of collapsibility are obtained by vertically orienting fibers of a plurality of cotton layers 2 forming the mattress core 1 by needling by a crown needle or fork needle and repeating spun-bonding on the top face and the rear face.
