摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the gear shifting time without lowering durability of a synchronization mechanism and to prevent a driver from feeling a physical disorder during the gear shifting period. SOLUTION: A shift lever 49 of a shift control device is operated in an operation region having a shift demand region and a neutral region containing a neutral position. A stroke sensor 52 detects the operation position of a shift lever 49. In an ECU (electronic control unit) 57, when it is detected by the stroke sensor 52 that a shift lever 49 is operated from a neutral position to a given position near a shift demand region, a hub sleeve for gear shifting in a transmission 15 is moved to a position right before a synchronous mechanism is operated and waited therein by an actuator 38 for the transmission. When it is detected that the shift lever 49 is operated from a given position to a shift demand region, the hub sleeve is further moved and the transmission 15 is shifted down through the synchronous mechanism.
