X-RAYS FOREIGN MATTER DETECTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adopt a forced opening type switch as a safety switch for an X-ray generating means for detachably adjusting the position of an apparatus body.

SOLUTION: The X-ray generating apparatus can be attached to or detached from an enclosure in an X-ray foreign matter detecting apparatus and a position can be adjusted for a direction orthogonally crossing an insertion direction after fitting. A guide member 26 and a switch operation means 21 are fixed to the side of the X-ray generating apparatus. A reception member 25 and the forced open type switch 20 are provided at the corresponding position of the enclosure so that it can travel for the adjustment direction via a support member 27. The forced open type switch 20 does not cause contact fusion and functions as the safety switch for the X-ray generating apparatus. An X-ray generating means 7 is inserted into the enclosure. The switch operation means 21 is smoothly inserted into an insertion section 20a in the forced open type switch 20 by the guide of the reception member 25 and a guide member 26, thus operating a drive circuit in the X-ray generating means 7. In this state, the position of the X-ray generating means 7 can also be adjusted in an adjustment direction.
