<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing control method in a communication device and the communication device in which both-side printing is made possible even in a size-mixed received document. <P>SOLUTION: The communication device capable of one-side printing and both-side printing has an original size detecting means for detecting original sizes within the received document, a comparing means for comparing the original sizes of the received document to be printed on the front side and the backside, a recording paper selecting means for selecting a recording paper equal with or larger than a maximum original size in the detected original sizes or recording papers in the respective detected original sizes, and a printing means for performing both-sides printing or one-side printing while using the recording paper selected by the recording paper selecting means in accordance with the compared result of the comparing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
