PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and its method which takes into consideration printing of a color test chart solving the problem that although the color test chart has many signals of≥300% in the sum of density signals that a printer do not guarantee, simple toner reduction results in that a color test chart which is effective in grasping device colors can not be obtained. SOLUTION: A three-dimensional display device has means of: analyzing inputted image data and determining a process to be performed for the input image data (S101, S111, S113); performing the determined process for the input image data (S102, S103, S114); and outputting the input image data to a printer (S104, S117). When the input image data indicate printing of a color test chart, a process corresponding to the amount of coloring materials in use is determined (S114-116). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
