PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device capable of reducing the number of parts to miniaturize it and having a degree of freedom in an arrangement place. SOLUTION: A driving motor 34 and a paper feeding roller 36 are incorporated into a case body 32. The driving motor 34 has a rotary shaft 34a extending in the direction orthogonal to both of paper feeding direction and the direction of arrow mark B, and the paper feeding roller 36 is fixed to the rotary shaft 34a. The paper feeding roller 36 is fixed to the rotary shaft 34a through a one-way clutch 38 for the paper feeding roller. A pulley 40 is fixed to a part between the driving motor 34 and the paper feeding roller 36 among parts of the rotary shaft 34a of the driving motor 34. The pulley 40 is fixed to the rotary shaft 34a through a one-way clutch 42 for the pulley. One end part 44a of a winding belt 44 for elevating the case body 32 is fixed to the pulley 40.
