There is described a ventilation and/or access panel made of a suitable sheet metal and comprising a cover (1), optionally equipped with vents (3), and a flat frame (2), which cover (1) is mounted detachably on the frame (2), said frame (2) being especially designed for mounting in connection with an opening in a wall or the like, in particular a wall that is to be tiled and grouted or covered in another similar way, and where the frame (2) and the cover (1) are equipped with cooperating fastening means (11, 12), wherein the frame (2) consists of a plurality of identically shaped frame members (5) which are joined together at their respective end areas in order to form the frame (2) and where the fastening means (11, 12) are provided in respectively a frame edge (6) at the inner periphery of the frame (2), which frame edge (6) extends in a plane perpendicular to the surface plane of the frame (2), and a cover edge (4) provided along the outer periphery of the cover (1), which cover edge (4) extends in the same plane as the frame edge (6), so that the frame (2) is adjustable in both the horizontal and the vertical direction relative to a wall opening or the like in which the panel is to be fitted. |
