PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize staggering in a heat storage profile generated at each heating element by printing. SOLUTION: A CPU 27 reads out history data R(1, n) stored in a hysteresis memory 28 for every printing process for one line, sequentially operates new history data R(1+1, n) from data D'(1, n) after corrected of an immediately preceding line and the current history data R(1, n), and updates data stored in the history memory 28 to the new history data R(1+1, n). The CPU 27 computes a heat storage correction value Cn from the newest history data stored in the hysteresis memory 28 after a specified unit is printed and equalizes the heat storage profile staggering by making each heating element generate a heat energy corresponding to the heat storage correction value Cn.
