The valve system for an oxygen cylinder comprises a cross-shaped housing (3) with a threaded connector (4) which screws into the cylinder. A branch at right angles to this contains a shut-off valve (6) operated by a rotating knob (7) in which a manometer (8) is mounted. A coaxial branch (9) is used to fill the cylinder and a pressure control (13) is mounted in a housing (12) on the final branch (14). Sealing rings are fitted in grooves on the final branch, to seal its connection to the pressure control housing.
