<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copyright protecting method restraining illegally copy or transfer of literary works and permit copy or transfer as long as it is personally used. <P>SOLUTION: When the literary work 3a is reproduced from the recording medium 3 and copied or transferred, using the owner information recorder 1adding owner biometrics information 3b indicating owner of a literary work 3a to the literary work 3a and writing it into a recording medium 3, and the literary work operating device 2 determining the owner of the literary work 3a recorded in the recording medium 3 by the owner biometrics information 3b and recognizing operations for copying or transferring of the literary work 3a only to the owner, copying or transferring of the literary work 3a is recognized as long as the user is confirmed to be the owner of the literary work 3a as an object reproduced from the recording medium 3 and copied or transferred, by collating the owner biometrics information input by a user who operates for copying or transferring and the owner biometrics information 3b written by the owner information recorder 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
