PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unloading apparatus and a truck, which provide a sufficient capacity of a housing for cargo (loading chamber). SOLUTION: The truck has the unloading apparatus which unloads the lading from an opening 47 by moving a press member 4 horizontally when a mobile plate 2 moves toward the opening 47 and keeping the press member at its original position when the mobile plate moves back toward the opposite side to the opening. The press member 4 has a cargo pressing part 96, which is sloped from the upper end down to the lower end with the upper end projected toward the opening 47. The unloading apparatus is also provided with a cylinder mechanism 65 for reciprocating the mobile plate 2, which is arranged closer to the opposite side to the opening 47 than the press member 4 is.
