PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system in an ADSL intra-office apparatus using analog telephone signals enabling the direct reset or setting change of a DSLAM state at a home apparatus without intervening a DSLAM managing company. SOLUTION: A system comprises a home apparatus 1 having an xDSL terminal 4 and an analog terminal 5 for generating push tones, and an office apparatus 2 connected to the home apparatus with an analog line 7 including a telephone exchange 8 and an xDSL intra-office unit 9 for setting individual sDSL communication conditions of the xDSL terminals. The telephone exchange comprises a controller 12 enabling the change of various settings of DSLAM corresponding to the xDSL terminal in response to a special number of push tones sent from the analog terminal.
