PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and reliably provide bamboo charcoal carbonized so as to keep a fine outward appearance characteristic of bamboo aroused by its cylindrical stem and joints.

SOLUTION: In manufacturing bamboo charcoal by carbonizing bamboo, a means to carbonize bamboo leaving its outward appearance as it is is provided.
