LID OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure of a fixing portion, easily position an object and reduce friction resistance due to a screw thread in a lid opening and closing device. SOLUTION: A vise device of the lid opening and closing device comprises a screw axis and a pair of vises connected to it. The vises move from right and left sides at a uniform velocity by means of a both end reverse screw axis, hold a cylindrical object by clamping it and at the same time position it at the center of the device. The opening and closing device of the lid comprises upper and lower plates 13, a pair of the vise devices 10 and 22, a rotation axis 18 and a rotary electrifying device 19. When one of the vises is made to be free in the upward and downward direction, the vise freely moves in the upward and downward direction in accordance with the upward and downward movement of the lid during lid opening and closing to reduce friction of the screw thread between the lid and the object itself and reduce torque required for opening and closing the lid.
