PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activating structure for trees planted along the street such as the green walk or the promenade, and to provide a method for activating trees by the activating structure. SOLUTION: The activating structure for street trees is constructed by embedding supports in the ground at predetermined intervals along the road where trees are planted at the one side or both sides thereof, placing a water-permeable base on the supports, and laying a water-permeable plate on the base so that the upper surface thereof has nearly the same height as that of the ground surface.
