PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device for correcting dark current noise including vertical noise without using a frame memory for storing an image signal for one frame with a large capacity. SOLUTION: This imaging device is provided with: a vertical light shielding region signal selection circuit 61 for selecting an image signal outputted from a vertical light shielding region provided at an upper end part, for a plurality of lines, in the laying direction of lines in a light receivable region of an imaging element from signals in the whole light receivable region; a line memory 62 for storing the image signal outputted from the vertical light shielding region signal selection circuit 61 for one line; and a subtraction circuit 32 for subtracting the signal intensity of the image signal stored in the line memory 62 from the signal intensity of an inputted image signal when the image signal existing outside the vertical light shielding region is inputted among signals in the whole light receivable region so that the same image signals may correspond to each other in a horizontal address in the line.
