The invention relates to a device for performing an online element analysis on a substance (S) which is conveyed or flows past a measuring station. The inventive device comprises a conveying device for the substance to be measured, a measuring station equipped with an X-ray source (10), and comprises an X-ray fluorescence detector (20). The fluorescence radiation emitted by the substance is not directly led to the detector but instead led via an X-ray guide, preferably a glass capillary, to said detector. The radiation emitted by the source is likewise directed toward the substance vi a an X-ray guide. The use of thin glass capillaries enables the radiation to b e parallelly and proximally irradiated or extracted. |
