PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone number registration system for easily registering information such as a name of a calling destination, which can be sound-recognized, and a calling destination telephone number. SOLUTION: A computer 50 is provided with a storage device 51 storing registered data composed of calling destination data being sound data of a sound signal on the name of the calling destination and calling destination telephone number being character data of the telephone number of the calling destination at every calling destination data and with a controller 52 transmitting a registered data notice signal and desired registered data to the outside from registered data stored in the storage device 51 through a telephone line 11. The telephone set 10 is provided with a storage part for storing registered data and a control part 15 storing received registered data in the storage part when it sequentially receives the registered data notice signal and desired registered data from the computer 50 through the telephone line 11.
