PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive receiver being effective to a wideband signal. SOLUTION: The adaptive receiver 100 divides four antenna outputs into each two outputs for outputting to respective signal band collective direction control sections 200-1, 200-2 each. In the signal band collective direction control section 200-1, the output signals of two antennas are composed by complex multipliers 101-1, 102-1, an adder 20-1, a correlation computing unit 30-1, and a complex coefficient computing unit 40-1. The same applies to the signal band collective direction control section 200-2. After the two composite signals are demodulated by OFDM demodulation sections 300-1, 300-2, they are outputted as most probable demodulation signal value by a coefficient computing unit 80, multipliers 11-1 and 11-2, and an adder 21.
