PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blocking tool with which strong closing to sufficiently bear a water hammer phenomenon is carried out. SOLUTION: This blocking tool for closing any part of a water spray hose for upland irrigation is equipped with a support frame 1 having a narrow opening part, a pair of a first and a second press frames 2 and 3 slidably inserted into the support frame 1, a pressing member 4 fitted into a gap between the press frames 2 and 3 and a fixing means for the support frame 1. The first press frame 2 is equipped with a side wall and a horizontal plate part and the second press frame 3 is equipped with a side wall, a horizontal bottom part and a guide groove formed on the horizontal bottom part. Any part of the water spray hose 5 is inserted into a gap between the support frame 1 and the press frames 2 and 3, the part of the water spray hose 5 is nipped by the inner peripheral surface of the support frame 1 and the outer peripheral surfaces of the press frames 2 and 3 while pressing the press frames 2 and 3 by the pressing member 4.
