<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna receiving apparatus which hardly deteriorates a receiving sensitivity of a user signal to a mobile machine, has the most efficient calibration period at each receiving branch, and keeps a constant calibration accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A calibration signal is distributed to output signals of a plurality of antenna elements, each distributed calibration signal is multiplexed to signals of a plurality of antenna elements, each calibration signal is extracted and demodulated from each multiplexing means output signal, and SIR of the calibration signal is calculated. An SIR value and an SIR threshold value calculated by each SIR calculating means each calibration period are compared and a demodulated result of the calibration signal is output only when the SIR value exceeds the SIR threshold value. A correction quantity of amplitude/phase informations is detected based on a reference demodulation result of a corresponding branch to the modulated result each receiving branch and the user signal is corrected based on the correction quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
