PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reinforcing an opening part of a film body, with which tear propagation of the opening part formed on the film body obtained by coating a base fabric, etc., with a resin is prevented and the film body has flexibility, lightweight and high reliability. SOLUTION: Points, on the film body 1, proper distance apart from the center of the opening 4 in the warp direction and/or in the weft direction of the base fabric 2 constituting the film body 1 are formed as each pair of origins 5 and 5a and flexible belt-like reinforcing members 7, 7a, 8 and 8a are arranged in a V shape or X shape from the origins 5 and 5a toward the the vicinity of the outer edge of the opening 4. The tip sides of the reinforcing members are fused to the film body 1 in a state that the members are crossed to the mutual opponent sides at the opening sides 6 and 6a. Film bodies having constitution similar to that of the film body 1 are preferably used as the reinforcing member 7, etc., the length directions of the reinforcing members are adjusted to that of the base fabric fiber. Preferably the width of the reinforcing number is≥about 70% of the opening width. Further, the fitting angle of the reinforcing member is preferably≤30°to a line connecting the center of the opening 4 to the origins 5 and 5a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
