<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a patient information registration work in a patient information registration terminal. <P>SOLUTION: This patient information acquisition system comprises: a plurality of patient information management devices having databases for accumulating data including patient information, which are connected to an in-hospital network; and the patient information registration terminal having a patient information acquisition means. The patient information acquisition means 111 of the patient information registration terminal 110 successively inquires the presence of patient information corresponding to a retrieval key related to inputted patient information based on a preset priority order of the patient information management devices (first and second database servers) 125 and 115 having databases for accumulating data including patient information.
