<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep glass dry plates received in a container without the generation of worn powder or the like and without the dry plates coming into direct contact with one another even if a vibration is applied to the container. <P>SOLUTION: A spacer 10 to be mounted on the glass dry plate 1 is formed of a flexible synthetic resin and includes a recessed channel 11 having first and second sidewalls 13 and 14 standing from both ends of the channel bottom 12. The most protruding portion 13aP of a convex arcuate surface 13a of the first sidewall 13 is approximately at the middle position, while the second sidewall 14 is tilted so that the inner tip 14a of the sidewall 14 comes the closest to the first sidewall 13. When an end of the glass dry plate 1 is inserted into the recessed channel 11 of the spacer 10, its surface 1a to be processed comes into linear contact with the most protruding portion 13aP so that it is held by the flection of the second sidewall 14 with a glass surface 1b in contact with the inner tip 14a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
