PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scum remover which can efficiently remove the scum floating on a water surface and can surely transfer the scum as well. SOLUTION: The scum remover is provided with a screw pump section 14 which rotates around an axis having a climbing angle with respect to the water surface, a scum scraping section 13 which is disposed at the front end of the screw pump section and scraps the scum on the water surface and guides the scum to the screw pump section by rotating integrally with the screw pump section, and scum transfer means 15 which conveys the scum conveyed to the transfer end of the screw pump section to a scum recovering section.
