PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for capturing aquatic life with which the aquatic life present in a prescribed region is captured without exception. SOLUTION: This apparatus for capturing the aquatic life has a basket unit 10 and a net unit 20. The basket unit 10 has a basket part having a circular ceiling plate 11 installed in the upper part side, a circular bottom plate 12 installed in the lower side of the ceiling plate 11 at a prescribed interval and heavier than the ceiling plate 11, four round bars connecting the ceiling plate 11 and the bottom plate 12, and a rope 14 for the basket unit 10 and attached thereto. The net unit 20 has a bag-shaped net 22 having an opening part 21, a circular upper part ring 23 attached to the opening part 21 of the net 22, and a rope 25 for the net unit 20 attached thereto.
