[Also in Division F1] An aircraft comprises a plurality of gas turbine lift engines 12 which are mounted on arms 14 which are pivotally mounted at 16, the engines being, located within the fuselage when inoperative, as shown in full lines, and being swung outwardly when operative to the positions shown in broken lines. The engines may be moved pivotally about the arms 14 so that the thrust may be directed forwardly or rearwardly. The invention relates to the engine air intake structure, see Division F1.</p> |
