PURPOSE: An illumination device for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to increase optical efficiency by uniformly guiding light in a front surface of a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: A lamp(12) installed at a uniform distance in a rear direction of a liquid crystal panel(16) radiates light. A reflective mirror(13) installed in a rear surface of the lamp(12) reflects the light radiated from the lamp(12). A plurality of optical fibers(14a) are arranged and assembled in an optical fiber assembly(14). The optical fibers(14a) installed between a front surface of the lamp(12) and the liquid crystal panel(16) guide the light radiated from the lamp(12) and the light reflected by the reflective mirror(13).
