PURPOSE: A method for exchanging piping with grooving method and piping structure is provided to perform the piping operation quickly and minimize dusts and noise during the process. CONSTITUTION: A method for exchanging piping with a grooving method is composed of steps of an existing piping detecting step for finding the piping position, an existing piping drain step for removing the water remaining in the existing piping, a piping position indicating step for indicating the piping position to install the piping in a constant interval, a wet paper installation step for laying the wet paper on the portion of the bottom surface on which a cutting edge passes, a linear piping grooving step for making grooves in proper depth and width to form a mortar layer, a both ends connection piping grooving step for connecting both ends after the linear grooving step, a piping installation step for installing the piping at the piping grooves, a moisture supplying step to the piping groove for preventing the moisture in new mortar layer from being absorbed in the existing mortar layer by providing the moisture for existing mortar layer having the piping groove, a solution applying step for preventing the moisture in new mortar layer from being absorbed in the existing mortar layer by applying the solution in the piping grooves, a mortar filling step for filling the piping grooves with cement, and a finishing step for smoothly finishing the surface of the filled cement to be coplanar with the surface of the existing mortar layer.
