LIGHT GUIDE, BACK LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A light guide, a back light assembly and a liquid crystal display having the light guide are provided to reduce the number of optical sheets to decrease the thickness of the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A light guide(110) includes a light input plane(112), a light reflecting plane(114), and a light output plane(116). The light input plane receives lights emitted from a lamp(120). The light reflecting plane comes into contact with the first side of the light input plane. The light output plane comes into contact with the second side of the light input plane. The light reflecting plane has a plurality of fine dots(114a). The lights inputted through the light input plane are diffused and reflected through the fine dots. The light output plane has an uneven surface and diffuses the lights diffused and reflected by the fine dots and outputs the diffused lights.
