PURPOSE: A low temperature curing agent for an epoxy paint, its preparation method and an epoxy paint containing the curing agent for low temperature curing are provided, to improve curing property at a low temperature below 5 deg.C, flexibility, smear fastness and brine resistance. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method comprises the step of performing the reaction of an epoxy resin and a Mannich base comprising phenols, amines and formalin by the addition reaction, wherein the Mannich base is obtained by carrying out the reaction of 1 equivalence of amines comprising m-xylenediamine and ethylene diamine in the equivalence ratio of 1:0 to 2:1, 0.4-0.67 equivalence of phenols comprising cardanol, bisphenol A and nonylphenol in the equivalence ratio of 2:1:0.5 to 3:1:1, and 1-1.5 equivalence of formalin. |
