The inlet manifold, comprising a plenum chamber (2) and two groups (3, 4) of alternating ducts, is made from a first component (5) with the plenum chamber and the first group of ducts (3), and a second component (6) with the second group of ducts. The first component has points (7) for fitting and sealing the ducts of the second group after they have been inserted between the ducts of the first group. The two components are made from sections, preferably of a thermoplastic material, joined by vibration welding.
