PURPOSE: A method for controlling a contents distribution based on an ebXML through the Internet is provided to sell contents by securing information with respect to contents from an unspecified number of the general public who are contents producers by on-line, creating an E-catalog, and supplying the E-catalog to a consumer. CONSTITUTION: A producer server registers information with respect to produced contents(contents information) in a mediator server(S40). A mediator server examines the stored contents information in accordance with a predetermined judging criterion and selects fine contents(S41). The mediator server integrates the selected contents information and creates an E-catalog with respect to the contents(S42). The mediator server supplies the E-catalog to a web page which is interlocked therewith and enables a consumer to connect to the web page through a consumer terminal and search the E-catalog(S43). When the consumer selects wanted contents in the E-catalog, the web site creates purchase request data with respect to the contents and transmits the purchase request data to the mediator server in real time(S44). The mediator server transmits the purchase request data to a server including purchase-objected contents, that is, the producer server or a data center server(S45). The producer server or the data center server downloads contents on the purchase request data to the consumer terminal of the consumer(S46).
