The purse which may be made of wood, plastic or leather has a body (1) with cylindrical holes (3) of suitable size to receive the various denominations of Euro coins. The cylindrical holes are truncated at the sides of the body to allow easy access by a finger and a rotating lid is fixed to the body using an emplacement (5) with a hole (6) for a rivet. The lid is kept in the closed position by the engagement of a protuberance (7).
