PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a remote controller having no means for turning off display and possibly feeding high-temperature hot water carelessly to a user when the means for turning off display is mounted easily. SOLUTION: This remote controller for water heater is provided with a hot water temperature display part 20, an others display part 23 constructed of a bath hot water quantity display part 21 and a bath temperature display part 22, a supplied hot water temperature changing means 25, and a display turning on/off means 29. When a user selects turning-on of the remote controller by means of the display turning on/off means 29, the others display part 23 is turned on, and the supplied hot water temperature display part is also turned on. When turning-off of display is selected, the others display part 23 is turned off, while the supplied hot water temperature display part 20 is kept turned on. Consequently, the user is prevented from supplying high-temperature hot water carelessly while not knowing the set temperature, and the glare in unused time and power consumption is lowered.
