PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool holding member, wherein aging change due to using environments is rarely caused, and its manufacturing costs is significantly reduced. SOLUTION: This tool holding member 50 is provided with a tool holding hole 58 detachably supported by a movable supporting member 4 in a machine tool and exchangeably holding a tool 8 used at the time of an operation of the machine tool, to form a thermosetting resin material by injection molding. Since the thermosetting resin is used, the tool holding member is difficult to cause aging change due to its using environments. Compared to the tool holding member manufactured by a compression molding method using the thermosetting resin, a manufacturing time is shortened, so as to significantly reduce manufacturing costs of the tool holding member.
